It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen L. Downey of Star Lake, New York, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Caswell and Flora Caswell (Taylor); her husband J. Rodney Downey; and her siblings, Alson Caswell, Orrin Caswell, Alberta Burke, Dorothy Morrison and Alma Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Downey, David (Judy Downey) and Gregory (Cindy Downey); and her siblings, Carl Caswell, George Caswell, Keith Caswell, Arlene Perrigo, Iona Brewer, Leta Perkins and Arvilla Aldus. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to the Star Lake Fire Department.
