He is survived by: his children, Matthew Culley, Patricia Rausch (Jeff) and Maria Smith (Harry). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was noted for his warm heart, love of nature, and unique ability to make new residents feel instantly welcome, whether it was a seat at his dining table or donating jigsaw puzzles, including card tables to all the common areas for multiple access to the opportunity for stimulating conversation and shared passion for the snap of a puzzle piece in its perfect place.
