He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kristen Bostrom; and his siblings, Doris Phalen and Richard Stape. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Stape (Shawn), Donna Peterman (Robert), Diane Bostrom and Darrell Stape; his grandchildren, Samantha DiChiara (Christopher), Michelle Cook (Andrew), Anthony Stape, Kyle VanAllan, Kate Henderson (Michael), Cerra Stape and Keyanna Stape; his great grandchildren, Isabella of Giulietta, Kendra, Carter and Callie; and his brother-in-law Robert Phalen.
