He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Oakes and Helen Oakes (Close); and his sister Roberta Laribee. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Oaks (Lane); his niece Susan Updyke (Robert Cook); and his nephews, Scott Arnold (Donna), Jeff Arnold (Bev) and Kelly Arnold (Camille Buttiglione). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, as well as his close friends.
