She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Dermott and Mabel Dermott (Hilliker); her husband John Sobus, Jr.; her son John Sobus III; her granddaughter Christine Ninestine; and her siblings, Fred Dermott, Ethel Scala and Janet Sneddon.
She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Iannopollo (Cosmo) of Geneva, Mabel Ninestine (Stephen), Joseph Sobus of Stanley, James Sobus (Tammy), Jeffery Sobus (Kelly) of Waterloo and Lorraine Knifley (John) of Geneva; her brother-in-law Michael Scala of Geneva; and her grandchildren, Cosmo Iannopollo (Natasha), Andrea Bennett (Walt), Emma Jones (Paul), Ashley Insogna (Joe), Jessica Sobus, Patrick Sobus, Olivia Sobus, Grace Sobus, Hannah Knifley and Blake Knifley. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
