Olive Shook Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olive Shook of Stanfordville, New York, born in Ancramdale, New York, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Dietter and Anna Dietter (Lown); her husband Virgil Shook Jr.; her daughters, Anna (Charles Wheeler), Susan (Ed Artuz) and Gail (David Dinsmore); and her brothers, Avery "Prope" Dietter of Ancramdale and Elwood Dietter of Millerton. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
