He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Lincoln Martin and Elizabeth Martin (Sackett); and his siblings, Betty, Frank, James, David, Stan, Jerry and Donny.
He is survived by: his wife Erma; his children, Edwin W. Martin (Marie) and Jacquelyn A. Cook (Rich) of South Kortright; his grandchildren, Duane Martin, Stephanie Martin (Kevin Sanford), Michelle Sicari (Sal), Jessica Cook and Victoria Sveda (Mike); his great grandchildren, Garrett Olsen (Megan Fallon), Emma Sicari, Lexi Sobers, Ava Mattice and Logan Sveda; his sister Jeanne Pittenger (Martin) of Seattle; and his cousin Sally Whitney of Stamford. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Wendell's name to St. Jude Hospital or O'Connor Hospital in Delhi.
