She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Nelson and Esther Estella Markel (Bloomer); her husband Douglas Nelson Coon; and her grandchildren, John Murphy, Jacob Barton and Jennie Perrotti.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Jean LaClair (John), Daniel Nelson Coon (Alice) and Rhonda Diane Davila (Michael); and her siblings, Charles Markel, Ann Morton and Cora Wicoff. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
