He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine and George; his brother Owen; and his grandson Eric. He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his daughters, Amy and Lisa; his grandchildren, Kaylyn, Alexis, Paige, Shaelah and Devon; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Aaliyah, Kade, Carter and Noah; and his nephews, William, Robert and Raymond.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the MacArthur Funeral Home (15 Buntline Dr, Stamford, NY 12167).
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Doug can be made to the Eric Merwin Scholarship Fund at Charlotte Valley Central School, Davenport, NY.
