He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Broberg; his mother Bessie Shum; his children, Brian Shum (Kati) of Chugiak, AK and Laura Shum (Andrew); his siblings, John Shum (JoAnn), Larry Shum (Kathy), Keith Shum (Becky), Eldorado, Cindy Graham (Tom) and Marie Maloney (Rob); his grandchildren, Novak Arledge, Parker Shum and Jackson Shum; his father Elvin Shum; and his brother William Shum. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
