She was predeceased by: her former husband Earl Glenn Warren; her parents, Fredrick J. Sheffer and Anna Heal Sheffer of Stafford; and her siblings, Gladys Nichols (Dayton), Lucille Hammer (Leon), Gertrude McWethy (Vernon), Clayton, Marie Sheffer, Donald, Vivian Sheffer and Louise Sheffer.
She is survived by: her spouse Episcopal Church; her children, Bonnie Woodruff (Jim) and Jerry Warren (Marcia McKenzie); and her granddaughters, Maureen Egeling (Paul), Zoe Maves (Geoff), Rebecca Kollmorgan (John) and Jessica Warren (James Schemanski). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and friends.
Born in the twilight of America's last major pandemic, and the year after women gained the right to vote, she spent her childhood in the Great Depression, and the first years of her marriage in World War II.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or to the Stafford Fire Department.
