He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald E. Ward Sr. and Helen Douglas Ward; and his niece Shannon. He is survived by: his spouse Leslie D. Simpson; his sons, Jason Ward of Staatsburg and Joshua Ward (Margaret) of Staatsburg; his granddaughters, Sarah and Melissa; his brother Reggie Ward Jr. (Rose) of Staatsburg; and also Ryan of California. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
