It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elisabeth Nichol (Staatsburg, New York), born in Croton Falls, New York, who passed away on July 20, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Burgess and Virginia Burgess (Juengst); and her siblings, Dorothy Nichol and Charles Burgess. She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Nichol; her sons, James (Martha Nichol) of Hyde Park and Robert Nichol of Hoosick Falls; and her grandchildren, Scott Martin (Alicia), Amy Estrada, Jeffrey Nichol, Carrie Ambrosino (Jared) and Alison Calhoun (Zach). She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
