She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Dauerman and Rita Goldstein Dauerman; and her husband Richard Schroedl. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Schroedl (Jasmine Wilson) and Jessica Schroedl; her grandson Sebastian Richard Schroedl; her brother Harry Dauerman (Kimberly); and her nieces, Renee, Sophie and Anna Dauerman.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sweet's Funeral Home (4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Beth Israel Cemetery (1098 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge, NJ 07095).
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be considered in Claudia's name to a favorite charity from her recent visit to Kenya: the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (http://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org) which rescues young orphaned elephants across Africa.
