She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Roome and Viola Roome (Holsapple); and her husband John Balint. She is survived by: her son James D. (Donna) of Highland; her brother Gary F. Roome (Doreen) of Poughkeepsie; her niece Melissa Seymour (Tim); her great-nephew Tyler; her niece Andrea Osterhoudt (David); her great-nephew Mason; her great-niece Kylie; and her siblings-in-law, Adelaide Grenier and Harold Balint.
