He is survived by: his children, Robert Evans (Nancy) of Decorah, IA and Linda Schihl (Dennis) of Tonawanda; his daughter-in-law Jennie Evans of Council Bluffs, IA; his brother Albert Evans (Nancy) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Zachariah Evans (Kristin Brainerd), Heather Hankins (Erik Drievold), Scott Betts (Betsy), Tara Betts (Dawn Rushton), Dennis Schihl (Carmela), Tom Schihl (Julie), John Schihl (Gina) and Beth Whelan (Shawn). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
