He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Owens and Catherine Owens; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his son Ronald Owens, Jr. (Takeya); his wife Carol Crawley; his son Michael (Elaine); his grandchildren, Olivia, Alicia, Gavin, Briana, Jasmine, Devin, Kamryn and Ava; his sister Patricia (John); his nephew Lawrence (Jaylene); and his cousins, Debbie, Leslie, Lisa Dungee, Zelma Atkins and Jerry Owens (Janice).
