Kevin Altidort Obituary

We bid farewell to Kevin Altidort (Spring Valley, New York), born in Nyack, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2024 at the age of 21. Kevin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Adonias Altidort and Rose Aimee Youte. He is survived by: his parents, Mireille Altidort (Ovilmar) and Jude Altidort; his brother Larry Altidort; his grandparents, Francois Altidort and Joseph Vilceus Ovilmar; his aunts and uncles, Misso, Marc Pierre, Rose Marie, Clairecine, Lesly, Yanick, Jean-Robert, Maxime, Eddy, Jourbert, Nicolas, Chavannes, Mona, Jeannette, Marie Lucie, Gerard Pierre, Julda, Damaria, Junior, Myriam and Soeurette; his grandmother Ya-Ya (Carole); and his cousins, Cassandra, Kathleen, Joe-Marie, Jemma, Roseline, Micheline, Ricardi, Manoucheka, Rose-Mica, Carmen, Sandrine, Marc, Jenny, John, Kayla, Ethan, Robertine, Patrick, Cynthia, Maicha, Mia, Christopher, Dylan, Ricarsi, Ralph, Aleia, Sariah, Trinity, Marshall, Pascale, Papoushe and Walmy. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home (177 NY-59, Suffern, NY 10901). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Joseph's Church (245 N Main St, Spring Valley, NY 10977).

As a way to honor Kevin's legacy we've also decided to partner with the Jed Foundation to create a memorial fund that helps to prevent suicide with young adults and at-risk youth.
