He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Smith Simelus and Camen Vil; his children, Joanel and Sandy; his family Joaul; his wife Marie Yvrose Dormelus; his grandchildren, Jabaar and Tahliaah Alfreide; and his siblings, Elise Simelus, Ghislaine Simelus, Yolande Simelus, Yvette Simelus, Gerda Simelus, Innocent Pierre and Jocelyne Moise.
