He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Josephine; and his son Kristopher. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his sons, David, Mark (Denise) and Paul; his grandchildren, Kayla Nieswiadomy (B. J.), Kacie Eck (Michael), Elle, Lara, Mark, Mia, Jacob and Ana; his great grandchildren, Luca, Oliver and Lilah Eck; his brothers, Nick (Carol) and Thomas (Carol); and his brother-in-law Larry Fibich (Janet). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
