He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elinor; his daughters, Cindy Rainey (Michael), Brenda Oakes (David) and Lori Diego (Ron); and his grandsons, Ron Daigle (Amy), Greg Melanson (Eva), Joel Daigle (Nicole), Matthew Daigle (Lisa), Josh Daigle (Kristina), Diego, Will and Michael Rainey Jr..
