He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Short and Marion Short; and his siblings, Barbara Tussi and Joseph Short. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Polcyn (Diane), Susan Polcyn-Dorgan, Rich Polcyn (Kelly), Jean-Marie Conrad (Mark), John Short (Lindsay), Lisa Tyson (Doug), Marcy Short and Stephen Short (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob Polcyn-Evans, Ryan, Grace Dorgan, Ryley, Alexa Polcyn, Joshua, Tyler Conrad, Camryn, Avery Short, Ashley, Andrea Grebner, Jason, Jon, Caleb, Mckenzie Babcock, Alex and Matthew Short; his great grandchildren, Max, Madeline, Lyanna, Addie, Kayden, Liam and Illa Mae; and his siblings, Shirley and Stewart.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walker Brothers Funeral Home (15 West Ave, Spencerport, NY 14559). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Walker Brother Company Funeral Home, Inc. (15 West Ave, Spencerport, NY 14559).
