She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Mellor and George Mellor; and her son Norman S. Mowers. She is survived by: her children, Laura Schmitt (Richard), Susan Geiger (Robert) and Michael Mellor (Ann); and her grandchildren, Michael Burke, Sarah Baranoski (Ed), Danny Burke (Fernanda), Cory Mellor, Bryan Mellor, Kimberly Hollenbeck (Jeff), Richie Schmitt, Christine Landers (Mike), Mary Joe Bowens (Tim), Steven Mowers (Aubrey) and Josh Mowers. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
