He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Hurd of Addison, NY. and Vesta Hurd (Wilson) of Addison, NY.; his brothers, Donald and Douglas; and his brother-in-law Michael Quinn.
He is survived by: his spouse Wilai Lane; his daughter Ann Hurd of Los Angeles, CA; his siblings, Eleanor Cobb (Gordon) of Spencer, Ruth Fuller (Philip) of Bradford, PA, Phyllis Quinn of Montrose, PA and Richard Hurd (Barbara) of Borden, NY; and his sister-in-law Carleen Hurd (Donald). He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, twelve great nieces and nephews and three great great nieces and nephews.
