It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry A. Baker of Spencer, New York, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on May 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Montgomery and Betty Stevens Montgomery; and her brother Wayne Montgomery. She is survived by: her husband William Baker; her children, Cindy Diehr (Steve) of Elmira and Jason Baker of Spencer; her siblings, Danny Montgomery of Spencer, Diane Pirtle (Robert) and LuAnn Montgomery of VanEtten; and her grandchildren, Alexis Pronti and Cole Diehr. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made in Sherry's honor to the VanEtten VFW Post #8139, 3936 Wyncoop Creek Road, VanEtten, NY 14889.
