He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Rupert and June Rupert; his wife Charlotte Anna Seiber Rupert; and his siblings, Darla Belknap and Mike Rupert.

He is survived by: his children, Denzil "Duke" Rupert (Michelle) and Dina Rupert (Mike); his grandchildren, Courtney (Chris), Tyler (Anita), Brandon (Danielle) and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Christopher and Lydia; and his siblings, Dwayna Scott, Joe Rupert (Anna), Dean Rupert (Laurene), Shot Rupert (Michelle) and Darcy Rupert (Beth).

Memorial donations may be made in Skip's name to Spencer VanEtten Food Cupboard, c/o Spencer Federated Church, 70 N. Main Street, Spencer, NY 14883.
