It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles C. Ritzler (Spencer, New York), born in Waverly, New York, who passed away on June 9, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Ritzler; his son Rodney; his brother Raymond Ritzler; his sister-in-law Marie Ritzler (Forsythe); and his nephew Raymond Ritzler, III.

He is survived by: his parent Ida Ritzler (Shaw); his wife Joyce Ritzler (Ryan); his children, Harry Ritzler (Ellen), Barbara Bailey, Spencer Mulligan and Charlene Mulligan (Bud); and his grandchildren, Renee Merkt (Brian), Craig Ritzler (Lauren), Jennifer Swayze (David), Jody Smith (Bret), Kimberly Bailey, Tyler Burke, Rebecca Setcavage, Christopher McAvoy, Amber Bateman (Shawn) and Cameron Greeson. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Charles's name to Spencer Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 22, Spencer, NY 14883 or Hospice at Lourdes, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
