With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Saxby of Speigletown, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Saxby and Pearl Duchane Saxby; and his sister-in-law Julie Leece (late Wayne). He is survived by: his wife Lucille Terrenzio Saxby; his sons, Mark Saxby (Wendy Fioravanti) of Colonie and Robert Saxby (Deborah) of Waterford; his grandchildren, Evan Saxby and Connor Saxby; his stepgrandchildren, Jon Perreault (Ashley), Joanna West (Robert), Isabella Anziano and Salvatore Anziano; his sister Roberta Koretnicki (Jack) of Rotterdam; and his brother-in-law David Terrenzio (Mary Lou) of Niskayuna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private. Please note that social distancing, masks and occupancy limitations in the funeral home are required.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd. Rensselaer, NY 12144.
