It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Joseph Sommers of Sparrowbush, New York, born in East Meadow, New York, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sommers and June Sommers (Bredekamp); and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his son Ray Jr.; his father-in-law Albert Catlow; his brother-in-law Al Catlow; his siblings, David (Elaine) of Sparrowbush and June Koch of Port Jervis; his daughter Jennifer Donlin (James); his granddaughters, Dea-Ann VanKleeck, Brooke-Lyn Orlick (Zachary) and Mary Donlin; his great grandchildren, Malakai, Mya, Mason VanKleeck and Winter Orlick; his niece Tonya Fowler; and his nephews, Steven and Dan Mioglionico.
