He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Duignan and John Duignan; his siblings, John, Maurice, William, Catherine and Rita; and his sons, Edward and Joseph.

He is survived by: his spouse Marion; and his children, Patrick, Daniel, Michael, Noreen, Eileen and Timothy.
