He was predeceased by: his mother Celie Beamon (Norfleet); and his son Derrick. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne (Swann); his son Michael; his grandchildren, Darren and Raya; and his brother Ben (Bonnie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
