He is survived by: his parents, David Gilmartin and Linda Gilmartin; his wife Kathleen Murray; his daughters, Marin and Reagan; his mother-in-law Helen Murray; his siblings, Rooney (Cherish), Billy, Patty (Shawn), Alicia (Russell), Danny (Megan), Brendan (Jennifer) and Mike (Shaye); his siblings-in-law, Kerrie Murray-Santare (Dennis) and Michael Murray (Fiona); and his nieces and nephews, Hayden, Devin, Liam, Ryan, Anna, Kevin, Megan, Timmy, Paddy, Jack, Maddie, Declan, Aidan, Gavin, Kieran, Gigi, Sean, Grace and Connor.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the O'Connell-Rothwell Funeral Home (30 Little Plains Rd, Southampton, NY 11968). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica Parish (168 Hill St, Southampton, NY 11968).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Caron Treatment Center, Seafield Center, and the Southampton Volunteer Ambulance.
