He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nolan and Rena Nolan; his brothers, John and Douglas Nolan; and his wife Doris "Pat" Nolan.
He is survived by: his children, Jim (Shari Nolan), Bill (Carol Nolan), RJ Nolan (Joy Hedges) and Kate Nolan (George Stepanovich). He is also survived by his three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; and his eight great-grandchildren.
