He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Gagliardo, Sr. and Frances; his siblings, Rachel Hambel and Nick; his granddaughter Kimberly Vandam; and his children-in-law, Nick Vandam and Lucia Bolletti.

He is survived by: his wife Frances.

In Joe's memory donations can be made to Our Lady of Poland Church , Catholic Home Care, or East End Hospice.
