He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Etheridge Sr. and Emma Gaylord Etheridge. He is survived by: his close friend Robert 'Hook Williams; his wife Florence C. Lee Etheridge; his daughters, Wanda Turpin (Kevin), Linda Gilliam (Anthony) and Kim Jarvis (Michael); his grandchildren, Kevin Turpin II (Tiphané), Jade Turpin, Tanya Gilliam, Tara Gilliam, Kody Jarvis and Kyle Jarvis; his great grandchildren, Sean and Elle Turpin; his godson William Ward Jr. (Octavia); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Lee, Thelma Lee and Ruth Lee. He is also survived by cousins, and friends.
