She is survived by: her parents, Muriel Pond and Jack Pond; her husband Robert G. Hansen; her children, Melissa (Jim Sullivan) and Jason R. Hansen; her grandchildren, Lucas and Madison Sullivan; and her brothers, Timothy (Donna) and Thomas (Tina). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Peconic Bay Home Health Services or East End Hospice.
