He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gilbert and Lila Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, John P., Kathleen Rudd and Charles R.; his grandchildren, Andrea, Brianne, Kaya and Konnor; and his brother John D. Gilbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
