He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Greene and Jeanne Purnell Greene; and his siblings, Margaret Nicklin (Peggy) and Dr. Robert C. Greene. He is survived by: his children, Tara Greene Minett (Ben) and Matthew Greene (Amy); his grandchildren, Penelope, Lorelei, River Minett, Conley and Cullen Greene; and his brothers, Christopher and Peter Greene.

Howard, as he was known to those of us from a small summer camp in Vermont, loved him. I felt fortunate to have been able to see him this summer at our camp's centennial celebration. Sending my condolences to his family. Howard continues to live in the hearts of alumni from Camp Sangamon in Pittsford, VT. RIP H.D. Greene”
