It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Philip Artese (South Salem, New York), born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Artese and Jean Vincenza Benevento Artese. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dawn; his sons, Joseph Philip and Anthony Vincent (Jen Traines); and his siblings, Frank Artese, Marie Artese Carilli and Frances Artese Schenk (Peter Schenk). He is also survived by five nephews, four nieces; numerous great and grand nephews and nieces; cousins and some childhood friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to "Operation Smile, Inc." or the "Little Sisters of the Poor" would be appreciated.
