He is survived by: his significant other Carol; his children, Thomas Carroll and Geradine Rios; his grandchildren, Chelsea Cavallaro (Rocco), Meghan Carroll (Michael Jenkins) and Jordan Rios; his siblings, Jose Ramon Rios (Eresdari), Anna Santiago (Nestor), Awilda Rios and Mildred Rios; his sister-in-law Liduvina Rios Quinones; his siblings, Elba Rios, Oscar Rios and Jose Manuel Rios; and also Amelia Cavallaro.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (20 Hicksville Rd, Bethpage, NY 11714). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Rose of Lima (2 Bayview Avenue, Massapequa, New York 11758).
