Mildred E. McKie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2022, at the age of 94, Mildred E. McKie of South New Berlin, New York, born in Mineola, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gunnar Nelson and Elviria Nelson; her husband Albert W. McKie; her son Nicholas J. McKie; her brother Floyd Nelson; her daughters, Barbara Threet of Plainfield, MA, Karen Foley (Don) of Norwich, NY and Clara Sharp (John) of Lincolnton, NC; her grandchildren, Meg Baker, Serena Torey, Annie Brodsky, Heidi Wilde, Holly Thomas, Jonathan Sharp, Mike McKie and Michelle McKie; her nephew Jim Nelson (Kathy); and her niece Susan Gunnels (Dave). She was also cherished by 21 great-grandchildren.

Millie's family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse, NY.
