He was predeceased by: his parents, Cary Roscoe and Minnie Swayer (Harberts). He is survived by: his wife Laura Dorie; his children, Jennifer Herring (Brian) of Garrattsville and John W Swayer (Karen) of Morris; his grandchildren, Erin, Ethan Herring, Hannah and Carter Swayer; and his siblings, Dina Schmidt (Manfred) of Bricktown, NJ and David Swayer of Edmeston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
