She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sloan and Lourene (Byrne); her husband John Banach; her siblings, William Sloan, Lourene Zahac and David Sloan; and her grandson Christopher Alan Pelkey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Friends (Don), Dorothy Sabellico and Lourene Bouffard (James); her siblings, Clara Tooker (Kenneth) and Walter "Doug" Sloan (Mary); her grandchildren, William Moore (Meredith), Stacey Wales (Tim), John Pelkey (Jill), Andrew and Josilyn Bouffard; her great grandchildren, Luke, Ben Pelkey, Chase and Karis Wales; and her pet Caleb.
