It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ross Michael Vrooman of South Glens Falls, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vrooman and Dorothy Vrooman (Platukis). He is survived by: his wife Catherine Williams (Kate) of Port Henry, NY; his son Derek; his grandsons, Riley and Francis Vrooman; his sister Linda Paracka; his aunt Nancy Platukis; his parents-in-law, Beth Burlingame, Arlene Williams (Lynn), Gloria Bergeron (Gilles), Janet Gallo (Russell), Wallace Williams (Elizabeth) and Gerald Williams (Rachel); and his nieces, Mary Perkins (Brad) and Sara Richman (Jake). He is also survived by uncle immensely, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and their children.
Contributions to The Open Door Mission, 226 Warren Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801, or to Fisher House, 113 Holland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 (temporary housing for veteran's families receiving care at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center) would be an honor to his memory.
