He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Perkins Sr. and Catherine Perkins (Rogers); his children, Michael Perkins, Cathy Perkins Young and Derek Perkins; and his brother William Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ray; his children, Jeffrey Hoffer, Debra Hoffer, Robert Perkins III, William Perkins, Honey Bee Cenate, Scott Perkins, Angel Spada, Chase Perkins, Chad Perkins and Destiny Perkins; and his sister Gloria Perkins. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In honor of Robert's memory, the family wishes to have donations made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, who he often supported.
