He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. and Beverley Macey, Sr. (Rivers); and his wife Joan Macey. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Macey (Kristy), Michele Leonka (Christopher) of Queensbury and Nancy Kearney (Jim); his grandchildren, Brendan Leonka (Katie) of Glens Falls, Jared Macey (Marissa), Brittany Nikas (Alex) of Lake George, Derek Macey (Alexa) of Queensbury, Aidan Kearney and Kelan Kearney; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Tenley, Kennedy, Bryson, Calla, Burkley and Magnolia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
