She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Barney and Emma Barney (Daire); her husband George Terpening; her son-in-law Roger Smith; and her sister-in-law Norma Green.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Smith, Brenda Long (Walter) of Fort Edward and Colleen McNutt (Greg) of Gansevoort; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Winslow (Brian), Rebekah Sterling (J. R.) of Ohio, Jesselyn Jameson (Matt) of Glens Falls and Paul McNutt of Gansevoort; her great grandchildren, Jahmiel and Raelina Sterling; and her brother Ralph Barney (Ellen) of Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home- SGF (136 Main St, South Glens Falls, NY 12803). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
