She was predeceased by: her parents, Benoni J. Varney and Pearl H. Varney; her son Kent Ramsey; and her siblings, Grace Barnes, Margaret Raimo and Eugene Varney.
She is survived by: her close friends, Greta Monrian, Mary Zachar and Bridget Kaszuba; her husband Lenox A. Ramsey; her children, Karen McGinn (Gene Bowen) and Kevin Ramsey (Carlene Ross); her daughter-in-law Alecia Ramsey; her grandchildren, Nicholas Ramsey (Debra Yoo), Kyle McGinn, Jennifer Pouliot (James), Colin McGinn and Kellie Ramsey; her great grandchild Nora Pouliot; and her pet Lily.
Not one to rest in retirement, Katherine worked at Tri-County United Way Retired and Serving Volunteer Program (RSVP). She loved working as an RSVP Program Assistant, adored people, and was devoted to serving her community.
