He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R. Haydel, Sr. and Stella Haydel (Colin); his former wife Eunice; his grandson André Leroux Jr.; his siblings, Adelaide Jacobs, Wanda Joyce and Glenn Haydel; and his daughter-in-law Wanda Haydel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Keith (Dionne) of Gretna, Gavin of Gretna, Tracey of Gretna and Shannon Haydel of Gretna; his stepchildren, René (Beth), André (Michele) and Lisette Leroux; his siblings, Robert "Reynold" Haydel Jr. (Blanche), Emmett Haydel and Joanne Haydel; his grandchildren, Gavin Jr., Keith Jr., Keion, Ryan, Sydnie, Joshua, Justin, Nicole, Thomas, Joey and Veronica; and his great grandchildren, Keith III, Anya, Ryan Jr., Kodi, Khol and Traci. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
