He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Freebern and Edith Freebern (Fish); his daughter Kim Marie Freebern; and his grandparents, Jessie Freebern, Alma Lincoln, Bert Fish and Laura Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Marie Ward Freebern; his children, Kelly Kapas (Joe), Dan Freebern (Frannie), Tracy Shaw (David), Sherri Blake (John) and Amy Wittenberg (Keenan); his grandchildren, Joseph, Janos, Elijah, Ryan, Lauren, Abigail, Caroline, Megan, Jesse, Josie and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Willow, Oliver and Odin; and his brother Milford Gene Freebern (Rita). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
